In our last newsletter (April 1996, Volume 6, Number 1) we announced our appointment of Transportation Environment Consultants as exclusive distributors of TMODEL2 in Australia. With this edition of TModel Reports, we are equally pleased to announce the merger of TEC and Rust PPK, also of Australia. TEC's two directors, Fred Gennaoui and Dick Fleming, and their seven staff members will be joining Rust PPK's Traffic and Transport team in their Rhodes office this month.

These two traffic and transport practices with their combined technical and professional staff wil be merged under the Rust PPK name. This integrated team will continue to provide the same high level of personal service and commitment to which the clientele of the two separate practices are accustomed. This merger will also enhance the ability of the resulting practice to keep abreast of emerging multi- modal transport technologies and developments in Intelligent Transport Systems. This should benefit all of the current and future TMODEL2 users in Australia.

A TMODEL2 training seminar is scheduled in the Sydney, N.S.W., area for November 1996.
