Another TMODEL3 module has been released for BETA testing. The program uses a variation of the Willumsens Method for estimating the most likely trip table from ground counts. As with the earlier released TMODEL3 DNA Editor, it is developed for use with Windows95 or NT. This module incorporates real numbers, MPA (multi-point assignment) and other features for ease of use.

Also, another enhancement is its ability to utilize turning movement counts in addition to directional traffic count data for improved trip table estimation. This has been tested "in-house" and has shown to be a significant improvement over the earlier methodology. The option to load a turn movement file with traffic counts is provided in the editor.

This new module has been bundled with the DNA Editor and is available to download from our webpage at www.tmodel.com.
