Bucher, Willis & Ratliff Corpoartion (BWR) is looking for a Traffic Engineer / Modeler for the Seattle, WA Office. BWR is an ENR Top 500 engineering, planning and architecture firm with offices located throughout the United States. Candidates shall have a minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering (MSCE desirable) and 3 to 8 years of professional experience in traffic engineering and traffic modeling. Traffic engineering experience should include one or more of the following: preparation of traffic impact analyses, traffic forecasting, signal design and signal coordination. Demonstrated experience in TMODEL, Highway Capacity Software (HCS) and Synchro is essential. Familiarity with TransCAD, Transyt 7-F, and TranPlan are desirable. Candidates should also have a solid working knowledge of computer software packages generally used in the civil engineering profession including Word, Excel, AutoCAD, SoftDesk, etc.

Assistant Transportation Planner

The Skagit Council of Governments is seeking a full time Assistant Transportation Planner to provide planning and technical expertise to our Transportation Section. This position calls for a person with strong analytical abilities, effective oral and written communication skills, and good computer software capabilities. Duties include data collection, analysis and mapping; administrative support to the Skagit/Island Regional Transportation Planning Organization; develop and update the Regional Transportation Improvement Program; review local transportation plans; US Census data support; and research and report writing. Requires Bachelors degree in planning, civil engineering, geography or related field and one year experience in urban/regional planning. A Masters degree may be substituted for work experience. Spokane Regional Transportation Council
Transportation Planner

This is a professional planning position with the Spokane Regional Transportation Council, which serves jurisdictions in Spokane and Whitman Counties with transportation planning activities. Spokane Regional Transportation Council (SRTC) is the designated Metropolitan Planning Organization for the Spokane area. This position works closely with the Transportation Manager and other staff in evaluating existing and future transportation corridors for facility and capacity improvements as part of the continuing, coordinated, comprehensive transportation planning program in Spokane County. Work will involve complex assignments in both transportation modeling and planning, which may also include environmental analysis. All activities will be part of the overall transportation work program that is under the supervision of SRTC's Transportation Manager.
