Welcome to the first edition of TModel Reports. You may recognize the format and contents as they are pretty much the same as the Metro Software Users Group Newsletter. TModel Corporation was formed this month by the people who have been writing, developing, and supporting TMODEL, TMODEL2, NCAP, and TGAP since their inception. We have purchased the software rights back from Metro Transportation Group, Inc. and will continue to offer the responsive support that you have come to expect.

Why buy back and operate separately? The reasons are goals and emphasis. We feel we can better pursue our goals and dreams for software development, sales, and support as a group dedicated to traffic analysis software and support.

We have gotten to know many of you through workshops, telephone conversations, meetings at conferences, and through working together. We hope to continue these relationships and build upon them in the coming years. If you have any ideas, complaints, or just want to talk about modeling, call either Dave (in Annapolis) or Bob (in Vashon).

As the new TModel Corporation, we intend to focus our energies on customer support and software development. Your investment in TMODEL2 and related software will continue to grow through updates and information dissemination with the improvements in analytic and computer technology.

P.S. Thanks to those of you who participated in the Langlow Company survey of TMODEL2 last fall. We will be mailing out personal letters to those of you who gave us your name and address. The responses are being used to continually develop enhancements. We learned (again) that one of the major methods of advertising of TMODEL2 is word-of-mouth. If you have colleagues who may benefit from using our software please tell us so we can provide them with information on our products, services, and philosophy.
